Over het Engelse Setter Forum
Ons Engelse Setter Forum is de plaats waar liefhebbers van ons ras elkaar ontmoeten, en samen schrijven over tal van onderwerpen.
Je kunt er vragen stellen, natuurlijk antwoorden geven, ingaan op de maandelijkse poll uit ons Magazine, jouw belevenissen vertellen over en met de honden, foto’s plaatsen, kortom een gezellige plaats om met elkaar alles over de Engelse Setter te delen.
Dit forum is een voortzetting van een al 3 jaar bestaand forum, nu in een nieuw jasje gestoken, een betere lay-out met meer mogelijkheden.
Je kunt het forum openen door op de BOX HIERBOVEN TE KLIKKEN.
Om definitief forumlid te worden moet je eerst registreren. Na de registratie beoordeeld de forumbeheerder jouw gegevens en na acceptatie krijg je toegang.
Je ontvangt daarover een aparte mail.
BELANGRIJK
Gebruik géén nickname maar gewoon je eigen naam, wij gaan ervan uit dat forumleden niets te verbergen hebben, dus ook niet het kenbaar maken van hun –beperkte- identiteit.
Vul zoveel mogelijk gegevens in bij de registratie, de forumbeheerder kan dan beter jouw registratieaanvraag beoordelen.
In het forum kun je gebruik maken van een eigen mailbox waarbij je makkelijk persoonlijke berichten kunt schrijven aan andere forumleden zonder die op het forum openbaar te maken.
Het gebruik van deze mailbox wordt pas mogelijk nadat je actief hebt deelgenomen en een aantal berichten hebt geplaatst.
Het bekijken van geplaatste foto’s en het lezen van de berichten is voor velen een dagelijkse gezellige bezigheid, het zelf schrijven is echter het échte deelnemen aan het forum en ook het doel waarvoor we het forum hebben.
Forumleden die een bepaalde tijd geen berichten hebben geplaatst worden herkent door de software en ……jawel, beschouwd als uitsluitend lezers, waarna de software de registratie automatisch definitief verwijderd en de toegang tot het forum dus wordt gesloten.
Wij gaan er echter van uit dat wij met elkaar het forum op dezelfde wijze zullen voortzetten en verwelkomen heel graag nieuwe gebruikers.

IMPORTANT – READ THIS FIRST
The English Setter Forum is the place where English Setter Lovers can meet each other, discuss, write and read, show the photo’s of their own dogs and so on…
You can ask questions, give answers to others, write a reply about the monthly Magazine-poll and share all we know about our breed.
The forum is available in two versions, Dutch (our native language) as well as English.
All messages and topic that forum members write will remain in the language that they wrote in of course, however the skin of the forum, the help and info functions are available in an English version.
The forum is, available for registered members only, which means that you will have to register first.
In order to avoid that you have to register in the Dutch section, which you would most probably not understand, we offer the possibility to register on a separate form.
After receipt of your application to become a forum member our forum master will do the registration for you and change the setting from Dutch into English.
After that the forum will always open in the English version.
We kindly request you, to use your own name for registration and definitely not any nickname. The forum is an open place where we can and will meet other people with the same hobby and interest, the only way to do that is with an open and honest mind.
On the application form you will have to submit your choice for your personal log-in and password.
The log-in will always remain to be the same and cannot be changed afterwards, however your personal password can be changed during your first visit to the forum. Thereafter you can use the forum, the personal mailbox, write, change or remove your own messages, add photo’s and so on.
Soon after we received your application for registration the forum master will review your application, install the English forum version, do the registration for you and mail you the confirmation of your registration.
Please note that after completion of the application form you will first receive a mail in which you will be asked to click a link by which you can confirm that you are the sender of the application form, only after this confirmation your completed form will be forwarded to the forum master. This is to avoid spam and funny jokers trying to register using your personal mail address.
